Ok this is how it works. Buy this game. GET YOU DREAMCAST ONLINE!!! Order a Pizza. Cancel all plans you have for the entire weekend. Pull up a comfertable chair (lazy boy recomended). And pull an all nighter with this game. Trust me on this one, you will not want to go to sleep. And almost everyone who has this game plays late into the morning. Nothing is more fun than going into a room full of guys and either A.) hacking them up with a sword bigger than cloud's B.) Shooting em down from afar or C.) Blasting the H**l out of them using tons of sweet looking spells. Gee I bet you can't tell witch one I prefer. Yup C. Either way you still have a blast. Force users tend to be the healers (which I almost always am) Rangers knock em off from across the other side of the room. And hunters will take the most damage, but their attack do ALOT of damage. So I said you'll get some stories. Welp first time I get on (using sega.net) there was NO lag. I was playing with people who had just standard isp's not even sega.net (I recomend having sega.net though). Being only level 8 at the time (I leveled before going online) I didn't have many spells and I sucked. Trust me you will want to be a ranger or a hunter if you only play offline or very little online. Anyway playing with other low level guys and they were dealing around 40 damage and me a messily 25 I tohught me guy would stink. I continued to think this until ohh say level 18, but then I found some disks in the mines and ruins and I was kicking butt. I now know all the basic normal healing and support spells (no advanced yet). And only being level 21 right now I still kicking butt fighting along side with people who are level 30. Heh this game is fun. ohh and boss battles. WOW they are intence. Fun a H*ll. Trust me it is worth the $100 for the dreamcast. And if someone reading this has gotten to the last boss, Is he hard, is he cool, whats he like?
sound- 9 not as good as say, final fantasy but music is still great
control- 9 takes getting used to camera not opptimal in first boss battle. (when he burrows underground you'll see)
Fun factor- 10 FUN AS HECK
Originality- online game play yup that's pretty sweet eh?
